Traveling / being away from home always makes it tough to get your workouts in.
Week of: 7/30/2012-8/5/2012
Exercise Walking - 4 sessions / 9.5 miles
General Walking - 7 days / 19.3 miles
I didn't think I would get any pool time as most hotel pools are as big as a bathtub and I was correct, very small pool. My workouts were on a treadmill, which still gives me some trouble. My limp is getting better but it's still tough to walk on a treadmill.
No change at this point with the numbness in my leg / foot. Disappointing, BUT, it's only been a little over 1 month since my surgery so no complaints here.
The plane ride to TX (go to my other blog for info on that trip) was rough. I thought it would be best to wear my compression sock and leave my shoe off however, I don't think that was helpful. The ride home was better, I didn't wear the compression sock and left my shoe on.
This week, I hope to get to the pool as I need additional workouts beyond the walking.
