Last week turned out to be a good week. I started the 16 week Chi Running 1/2 Marathon training. It starts out with 30-40 minute runs so I've been focusing on improving my speed. I've been maintaining a 11 - 1130 minute pace with my ultimate goal to be at a 10 minute mile. I had a good weight loss week......then came this week.
This has been a rough week, really low motivation and struggling to get up in the mornings. I know some of it has to be due to lack of sleep. Since moving we have both struggled with sleeping and we are hoping that when we get to the new house with a new bed that will all change. I'm probably averaging 4-5 hours of sleep a night. I felt like it caught up with me this week. I would think that with all the exercising that I wouldn't have a problem sleeping but that hasn't been true.
I'm heading into the 10 week countdown to my Sprint Triathlon and 20 weeks out from my 1st Olympic Distance Triathlon so I definitely need to get my head in the game.
I'm still happy with my overall progress and believe I'm in the best shape in the past several years but still have goals to achieve.
