DAMN. I did hit my 2.5 hr run yesterday and was glad that I decided to run outside. I was able to enjoy and focus on the run. A year ago I don't think I would have said I enjoyed a 11 mile run but work life has really SUCKED and lately when I'm training I try very hard to stay focused on what I'm doing. I try not to let my mind wander to work related stuff, I just enjoy what my body is pushing me to do and mentally I remind myself that I can do this.
