Swim - 2
Bike - 2
Run - 2
Strength Training - 0
Weight loss (weekly / year) - 0 lbs / 6 lbs
Mileage (weekly / 2014) -
Swim - 1800 yds / 6600 yds
Bike - 32 miles / 236.58 miles
Run - 7.91 miles / 90.58 miles
This was a frustrating work week which led to some procrastination at the gym. One thing I have been trying to practice is to leave work at work but sometimes it can get the best of me and this was one of those weeks, but rather than bag the entire week I was proud that I sucked it up and got at least 4 workout days in, so I'm not too disappointed.
I have been toying with the idea of getting a tri bike. I LOVE my Felt 80, she has been very good to me but the hubby thinks with the longer races I need a better bike. I agree but what if I complete the 1/2 IM and decide I don't want to do a full or never do a tri again???? The hubby says he doesn't think that will happen but I don't want to spend the money unless I really think this is my future for at least 5 years. Of course I'm no spring chicken, I'll be 44 this year and while I feel younger than I did in my 30's I don't know how long the body will continue to cooperate.
